Believe it or not, it's a toss up for_ us right now.  I mean, how do you decide between Paul Audley (the President of Film L.A.  a  great-hearted leader who brought us back for another full day of scarf-making with 60 very appreciated employees) and the senior partners of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (a law firm that brought us to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, CA, for an afternoon of fun as a special Spouses Event during their annual company conference)?  

Love your employees, and they'll love you. Love their families, and they'll REALLY love you. Right?  

Anyhow, we love them all, from the new part-time intern at Film L.A. who was so surprised to be treated to the opportunity to design and create her own water marbled silk scarf while still on the clock, to the gentle giant husband of an AALRR employee who was so fascinated by this art form that he pestered us with questions, took tons of photos, and jumped into making his red, white and blue design with great gusto.

In the end, the real award didn't go to the bosses at all, but to the wonderful folks who they treated. So, here's to the bosses who live by the Golden Rule, and who understand the value of the Gel-Git: that back-and-forth, give-and-take generosity of spirit that makes life an art.
