The Mayu Silk Art "Remote Bespoke" experience takes virtual reality to a whole new level! Through the wonders of live stream video, you will be literally in the studio with a skilled artisan who will communicate directly with you as you move through the process of painting your own silk or make one for someone special! #remotebespoke

here's how it works:
  1. REGISTER ONLINE: Check “Individual or small group appointment” above, then click “More Options” to set up a 30 minute virtual appointment (the actual appointment may take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes).
  2. RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS: You will receive an email with instructions for logging in with Zoom, Skype or Facetime at the appointed time. You will also get a link where you can view a demonstration, select your colors, and browse designs before you log in. With his very special brand of humor (and a great English accent), Phil will demonstrate the use of the rakes and tool before you start choosing your colors and browsing designs on display in our studio for some inspiration.
  3. LOG IN: Connect with us in real time from wherever you are, using your phone, tablet or computer. You will be able to see and hear us - you can decide whether you want us to see or hear you.
  4. PAINT & PARTICIPATE! You will be able to talk directly with us as if you are standing right there at the tray. Star and Phil will be your hands, creating the design while you are watching and participating from the comfort of your home or other location. ​
  5. GIVE OR RECEIVE: Your finished item will be mailed to you (or your designated recipient) within 3 days. Free shipping to U.S. Addresses (international shipping will incur a small charge).
