Custom Made White Plastic Tray (exclusive student pricing)
Custom designed just for Mayu Silk Art and our students, these trays are a delight to use - lightweight and easy to use! Our artisans love our new scratch-resistant white ABS plastic trays, which show off the colors of the paint beautifully, and are super easy to clean. Their lighter weight makes them easier to load and unload for off-site events, and they look great in photos. We still love the warm glow of a wood tray, but we love the convenience these plastic trays have to offer!

Please note: Costs for packaging and handling, plus shipping fees, will be billed separately for items purchased through our online student store!!!!
These trays weigh approximately 15 pounds each - about 10 pounds less than their wood counterparts - not counting the packaging. Also, these trays are narrower due to the thinner edge, and shorter, too, so the shipping fee is notably less.
Shipping will be billed to the buyer, and the shipping fees are due and payable at time of billing. Please plan accordingly - we anticipate the cost of packaging and handling, shipping fees, and insurance to run about $45-75 for US Domestic addresses, using UPS as the carrier (vs $70-$110 for the wood trays).
Cost of shipping has actually gone DOWN in the last few years, but the cost of lumber and supplies has gone UP. In good faith, we have avoided raising prices whenever possible, and have had only one price increase on these trays since we first started offering them in 2018 - doing all we can to help keep costs down for our students!
*Every effort will be made to minimize costs but we want to be sure your trays and tools arrive safely, so we will not cut corners to save a buck or two if the packaging takes it over the limit.
