Handcrafted Wood Tray - 3 sizes (Student Pricing)
Handcrafted of select pine with multiple layers of marine-grade polyurethane finish; PVC drain and cap. Divider/Stirring stick and 4 shims included, plus a FREE Big Kahuna Rake with your first order of any 16" x 74" or larger tray. Maximum usable depth of liquid on these trays is about 1.5 inches. These trays are meant to last for years when properly maintained, even with heavy use. For lifelong use, less weight, and easier care, consider ordering the plastic trays.
16" x 74" This is the standard size of tray we use the most here at Mayu Silk Art. Accommodates items up to 16" x 74." (Order 16” tools to go with this tray)
22” x 22” This is a great size for doing demos, or any time you need a smaller tray. This size will accommodate a large cotton or silk bandanna, placemat, quilters fat quarter, wine bottle bag, and all sorts of other items. (Order 22” tools to go with this tray)
46” x 76” XL. This extra large tray allows you to paint up to 2 yards of fabric (yardage for sewing projects, sarongs and pareos, tablecloth, standard pillow case, matched sets of placemats/napkins, (Order 26” tools to go with this tray).

Please note: Actual cost of shipping will be billed separately for items purchased through our online student store!!!! Shipping of one standard 16” x 74” wood tray runs anywhere from about $40 to $90, depending on your location, even higher for overseas shipping. Price will be significantly lower for the square tray (or for the plastic trays). Price and number of packages may vary if other items are being ordered at the same time.
NOTE: The cost of shipping 2 of the 22” square wood trays is almost the same as the shipping of just one tray. So, plan ahead! Only order what you need, but remember you can save in the long run by ordering two at a time.
We have waived the cost of packaging. You will only pay for the actual cost of shipping that WE pay - which is up to 45% lower than regular retail price for UPS, FedEx or USPS.*
WE will cover shipping insurance costs, if any.
Domestic (US and territories) addresses: You will be billed for shipping within 7 days of shipping date, or as soon as we are able to get to it. Some billing will be delayed, but regardless of when it is sent to you, your shipping bill is due and payable within 14 days of billing.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ONLY:
- Your order will automatically include a charge of $36 for international shipping.
- If the ACTUAL total cost of shipping of this order is less than $36, you will receive a refund of the difference.
- If the ACTUAL total cost of shipping of this order is MORE than $36, you will receive an invoice for the difference.
*Every effort will be made to minimize costs but we want to be sure your trays and tools arrive safely, so we will not cut corners to save a buck or two if the packaging takes it over the limit. That said, we may opt to cover the difference, and only bill you the lower rate :)
EXTRA LARGE TRAY: Local delivery or pick up only. We do not ship any tray larger than than the standard scarf tray.
