What an enthusiastic & caring staff! My husband & I each created a beautiful & unique scarf. They are both lovely souvenirs of our 30th Anniversary trip! Thank you all at Maya Silk Art!

Hello Star and Phil!
First, a big THANK YOU for the amazing weekend we had with you! It was an incredible class- we learned so much from you, had a great time practicing, and it was fun getting to know other people who share our interest in water marbling. We can't wait to get started, and it seems that the others feel the same! This week has been crazy busy with designing the website, working with merchant services to get our credit card machine set up, and singing up for social media so we can hit the ground running. I'm hoping to attend our first event in the next month! We truly can't thank you enough, from the bottom of our hearts, for the invaluable information you shared and your sincere support. You are two of the kindest people we have ever met, and it means so much that you would share your success with us. Finally, we feel like we are exactly where we are supposed to be, and we can't be more excited for where this will go!

We had a great time at the Huntington Beach Pier on a recent warm July afternoon, marbling with this very personable young man, and visiting with his dad, David. Of course, we are always thrilled to see photos from our scarf-painting events, and David really caught the sense of art and fun that makes the Mayu Silk Art Experience so remarkable. For a real treat, notice the funny expressions on our faces in the last picture in this set!

Over the Thanksgiving weekend 2015, we had the treat of making scarves with Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos and his sweetheart, the delightful and talented Annalise. They discovered our booth while enjoying a day of sun and fun in Huntington Beach. After watching Phil do his famous demonstration of the art of water marbling, Jon and Annalise were ready to jump in.  On their first round, they had a little friendly competition to see who could make the best scarf. (in the picture above, hers is on the left, and his is on the right). They returned the next day to make a few more, including a gorgeous sunset-themed scarf they made together, even as the sun was setting over the Pacific just behind our booth.
